A mathematical calculation is run twice weekly on over 350 'groups' of funds price data to find the 'best' performing fund in each group, this is called the ‘Fundrider Choice’.
The calculation is then run a second time leaving out the 'best' fund therefore finding the second best fund.
It should be noted that the second fund can be overtaken and a different fund take second place.
These two leading funds are compared until the second one overtakes the first when an alert is signaled. This process is explained further in the ''tutorial'.
Subscribers are alerted to changes by email.
As email messaging can be unreliable a regular check (say weekly) of the graphs will show if a change has occured.
Once logged in select portfolio where there is a click through to the graphs these graphs display the Fundrider analysis.
There is a further click through to the investment company where on-line switching can usualy be completed making the whole process as simple as possible. You also have access to a Forum where you can exchange opinion with other subscribers.
