You see two graphs, the LHS graph displays the actual performance of the two leading funds and the RHS graph displays the difference between them.
The Pacific fund, coloured green, is shown as zero on the RHS graph, and the red line now plots the difference between them.
Two averages of the difference are also plotted. A three month (in purple) and a six month (in blue).
The switch alert from Fixed Interest to Pacific is signaled when the six month average ( blue ) turns down, which occurred a few days later.
The purple three month average is used to give an early indication of the unfolding trend.
